Easy Greek recipes include a couple of side dishes that you can easily make to accompany your favorite Greek meats.

A Greek lemon potato recipe can be a refreshing replacement for ordinary french fries or mashed potatoes.

And a Greek rice recipe can be a hearty side dish by adding lots of fresh veggies, Kalamata olives, and Feta cheese.

Both of these sides can be eaten with mouth watering Greek meat burgers or balls made from a mixture of ground meats and Greek flavors. 

Easy Greek Recipes - Greek Lemon Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 Organic Yukon Gold Potatoes (peeled & cut into wedges)
  • Dried Greek Oregano (to taste)
  • The Zest & Juice of 1 Organic Lemon
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Big Splash of Filtered Water
  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped Organic Parsley for Your Garnish

Instructions:

Transfer the potatoes to an appropriately sized roasting pan and add a splash of water to help create steam when cooking.

Then add the seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice, and oregano to the potatoes. 

Drizzle with olive oil and toss. 

Cook at "fan" 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes - stir once or twice.  When done, garnish with fresh parsley.

Easy Greek Recipes - Greek Rice Recipe

Instructions:

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.  Let the flavors marry for 1 to 2 hours before serving to your guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Organic Whole Grain Rice (cooked)
  • 1 cup Organic Spinach Leaves (stemmed and steamed)
  • 1/2 cup of Organic Cherry Tomatoes (cut in half and seeded)
  • 1/2 cup Organic Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup of Organic Cucumber (seeded and chopped)
  • Bunch of Your Favorite Fresh Chopped Organic Herbs (parsley, basil, mint, etc.)
  • Handful of Organic Kalamata Olives (pitted & rough chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Organic Feta Cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 Freshly Juiced Organic Lemon and a little Lemon Zest for Extra Flavor
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. of Organic Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Optional:  Use Cooked Quinoa instead of the rice for lower carbs.

Easy Greek Recipes - Roasted Greek Meat Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. of Organic Ground Pork
  • 1 lb. of Grass-fed Ground Beef
  • Zest of 1 Organic Lemon
  • 1 Lg Free Range Egg
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup Freshly Chopped Mint & Parsley
  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)

Binder Ingredients:

  • 50 ml (almost 1/4 cup) Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Organic Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Organic Garlic Clove (thinly sliced)
  • Sprig of Thyme (chopped)
  • 150 grams (2 big slices) Sliced White Bread (or sourdough)
  • 1 tsp. Dried Greek Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Organic Smoked Paprika
  • 50 ml (almost 1/4 cup) Whole Grass-fed Milk

Instructions:

Saute finely chopped red onions, garlic, and thyme in a hot pan with 1 Tbsp. of olive oil - until carmelized.  Set aside to cool.

To make the binder - add olive oil, carmelized mixture, and bread into a food processor - blend until crumbly. 

Then add in the oregano, paprika, and milk - blend until well combined.

Pour mixture into a large mixing bowl - add the ground pork, ground beef, lemon zest, egg, seasoning, and freshly chopped herbs.

Massage ingredients by hand to combine well. 

Then form into 6 to 8 burgers and place on a lined baking sheet. 

Drizzle with olive oil and roast at 360 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes.

Enjoy Greek meat burgers with your favorite style of Greek potatoes or Greek rice.  And garnish with smoked paprika, fresh herbs, and "real" Greek olive oil.
