Easy truffle recipes only require a few ingredients such as your choice of a delicious fat, good quality chocolate, and a flavor choice such as vanilla.

You can then roll your easy truffle recipes in all sorts of extra goodness such as your favorite nuts, shredded coconut, or a high quality cocoa powder.

Dark Chocolate Truffle Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup of Heavy Cream
  • 6 tbsp. of Butter
  • 2 cups of Dark Chocolate Chips (60% or more)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. of High Quality Vanilla Extract

Coatings:

  • Ground Nuts
  • Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder
  • Finely Shredded Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

Instructions:

Heat cream to a bare simmer using a double boiler.  Then add in butter - melt.

Add in the chocolate chips and stir until melted.  Take off heat and add in vanilla.

Bring to room temperature and then refrigerate for 2 hours before rolling into balls.

Finally roll each truffle with your favorite coating.

I like the idea of using cream and butter along with a darker chocolate chip to make a decadent dark chocolate truffle recipe.

Easy Truffle Recipes

Basic Instructions:

Cut your chocolate into smaller pieces.

Bring "infused" cream to a mild boil and then pour over chocolate pieces.

Stir until incorporated and then put into the refrigerator for approx. an hour.

Use a spoon to scoop out enough to form a truffle ball and then roll truffle into a coating of your choice.

Basic Ingredients

  • 16 ounces of Quality Chocolate
  • 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Optional:  Cinnamon, Rum, etc.

Vegan Chocolate Truffle Recipe

Truffle Ingredients:

  • Shredded Coconut Flakes (unsweetened)
  • Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Sea Salt
  • Raw Walnuts
  • Maple Syrup or Raw Sweetener

Truffle Instructions:

First blend coconut flakes with walnuts (20 to 30 seconds).  Add rest of ingredients and pulse until well incorporated.

Then stick into the freezer for approximately 20 minutes.

When hardened - roll into truffle balls.  Then stick back into the freezer for another 20 to 30 minutes.

Ganache Ingredients:

  • Maple Syrup or Raw Sweetener
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder
  • Sea Salt

Ganache Instructions:

Blend all of the ingredients until a liquid-like chocolate texture is created.

Then poke each truffle with a fork and dip into the ganache to fully coat each truffle with chocolate.

Put the dipped truffles back onto a waxed paper tray and top with your favorite topping like pink sea salt.

Then put the truffles back into the freezer until you are ready to serve them.
