A Greek Salad Dressing Recipe

Greek salad recipes also include Greek Pasta Salad Recipes. A recipe for Greek Salad will almost always include Feta Cheese and Greek Olives.

A Greek Salad Dressing Recipe is usually a combination of olive oil, vinegar and herbs.

You can be very creative when making Greek Pasta Salad Recipes. You can use various types of pastas, vegetables, and even meats.

You could try using Buckwheat Pasta Spirals, Quinoa Elbow Pasta, Organic Brown Rice Macaroni Pasta, or even Spelt Pasta Shells when making your pasta salads.


A Greek Salad Dressing Recipe



A Very Simple Greek Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 6 Tablespoons of Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice or Your Favorite Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves of Crushed Garlic
  • 2 to 3 tsp. of Dried Oregano
  • Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions:

  1. Whisk olive oil and lemon juice until incorporated together.
  2. Stir in the rest of your ingredients.
  3. Your dressing is now ready to be poured!

A Recipe for Greek Salad

Basically, a Greek Salad is freshly cut cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Some people like to add a leafy green to their Greek salad.

Of course, Olives and Feta Cheese are usually found with this type of salad. You could even throw in a few anchovies to kick it up a bit.

Use a simple vinaigrette and your done!

Greek Pasta Salad Recipes

Ingredients:
  • 2 to 3 cups of cooked Whole Grain Pasta
  • 3/4 to 1 cup of crumbled Greek Feta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup of sliced Kalamata or Black Olives (pitted)
  • 1 cup each of sliced Tomatoes, Mushrooms, and Red Bell Peppers
  • 6 ounces of sliced Pepperoni or Salami
  • 1/2 cup of Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 T. of Red Wine Vinegar or Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 to 2 cloves crushed Garlic
  • 1 to 2 tsp. of dried Oregano
  • 1 to 2 tsp. chopped fresh Basil Leaves
  • Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions:

  1. Combine in a bowl or capped glass jar olive oil, vinegar, sea salt, pepper, and crushed garlic.
  2. Whisk or shake ingredients to blend together.
  3. Combine the other ingredients in a big bowl and toss in your dressing.
  4. Refrigerate for an hour or two before serving.


As you can see, there are many variations to making a Greek Pasta Salad. Have Fun!
