Homemade candy recipes can be quick and easy. You can even learn to make a raw chocolate bar from raw cacao butter.

Easy chocolate recipes usually just start with basic ingredients and then you can add your own special touches or signature to make them your very own.

A raw chocolate bar can be made using various nuts and seeds to give your chocolate bar that much desired crunch! You can also play around with various spices or flavorings to add a unique depth of flavor.

Using raw cacao butter as the base of your chocolates will give it a rich creamy taste and texture.


Easy Chocolate Recipes

Important Tip: Use Raw Honey instead of Agave Nectar. Agave nectar is actually a very processed sweetener and is very high in fructose. Therefore, raw honey would be a healthier choice.

It may be possible to find a "Healthy" agave nectar, but you would have to do some research to find one that is truly raw.

You can also look into raw yacon syrup as an alternative low glycemic vegan sweetener.

How to Make a Raw Chocolate Bar

Again, I do not recommend using Agave Nectar unless you know for sure it is truly "raw" and have done your research.

It's great to take easy chocolate recipes and put them into fancy molds to create a much fancier and healthier chocolate treat.

Think of all the different kinds of nuts and flavors you could use to kick up your raw chocolate bar. You could even mix in some hemp seeds, orange rind, super food powders, etc.

I mean the sky is the limit or your imagination!

Raw Cacao Butter

Raw cacao butter is the fat that naturally occurs in cacao beans.

This fat has a decent amount of saturated fat, but its saturated fat does not seem to raise blood cholesterol levels.

It's a great fat to add into raw desserts and you can even use it as a skin moisturizer!

When purchasing cacao butter, look for cacao butter that is free of harsh chemicals and has not been heated above 116 degrees F.
