Organ Meat
Organ meat such as beef kidney and chicken gizzards can be a nutritious treat when added to your pet's diet. Nutrients such as B12 and iron are only a couple of the important nutrients found in these types of meats. Some people say that meats from organs are much more nutritious than muscle meats. These types of meat also appear to be a lot more on the alkaline side compared to muscle meat which may be one of the major benefits of using this type of meat. These types of meat are usually more cost effective than buying a steak for example or even more cost effective than buying hamburger. I know from experience that pets seem to enjoy liver and kidneys just as much as any other type of animal meat. They are also more likely to consume liver, etc. than any of your children.
