Easy truffle recipes only require a few key ingredients like good quality heavy cream, good quality chocolate, and a flavoring agent such as vanilla. You will also roll your easy truffle recipes into your favorite chopped nuts, toasted coconut flakes, or high quality cacao powder for extra goodness.
Dark Chocolate Easy Truffle Recipes
1/3 cup of Grass Fed Heavy Whipping Cream
6 tbsp. of Grass Fed Unsalted Butter
2 cups of Organic Dark Chocolate Chips (60% or more)
1 1/2 tsp. of Organic Vanilla Extract
Ground Toasted Organic Almonds
Organic Cocoa Powder or Fermented Cacao Powder
Finely Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
I like the idea of using grass fed cream and butter along with a darker chocolate chip to make a more nutritious decadent dark chocolate truffle recipe.
Heat cream to a bare simmer using a double boiler. Then add in butter - melt.
Add in the chocolate chips and stir until melted. Take off heat and add in the vanilla flavoring.
Bring chocolate to room temperature and then refrigerate for 2 hours.
Take spoonfuls of chocolate and form into balls with your hands.
Finally roll the truffles into ground almonds, cocoa powder, and shredded coconut flakes.
Cardamom Infused Truffle Recipe
1 to 2 pounds of Organic Dark Chocolate
2 cups of Grass Fed Raw Heavy Cream
Small Handful of Crushed Cardamom Pods or 2 tsp. of Ground Cardamom Seeds
Toasted Coconut Flakes, Toasted Almond Slivers, and Cacao Powder
Optional Flavors for Infusion: Cinnamon or Tea
What is Cardamom?
Cardamom comes in green, white (bleached), and black (for savory dishes). For this truffle recipe, just crush the green "whole" cardamom pods.
Bring cream and cardamom up to a boil Then turn down the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Pour infused cream through a fine sieve over the chocolate. Let sit covered for 5 minutes.
Then mix the cream and softened chocolate until well combined and glossy looking.
Pour into a large glass baking dish and put in your refrigerator to cool for about 30 minutes.
When chocolate is set, use a spoon to scrape chocolate and create balls.
Then roll into toasted almond slivers, toasted coconut, and cacao powder.
"Spiked" Chocolate Truffle Recipe
2 cups of Organic Heavy Whipping Cream
1 pound of Bitter Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp. of Orange Liqueur
1 Tbsp. of Plain Brandy
Chopped Organic Pistachios, Melted Organic Dark Chocolate, and Melted Organic White Chocolate
Easy truffle recipes are basically a Ganache recipe that's usually based on a 1 to 1 ratio of heavy cream to chocolate. For every 16 oz. (2 cups) of heavy cream, use 16 oz. (1 pound) of chocolate.
Although, recipes will vary.
Roll plain truffles into finely chopped pistachios.
Dip "spiked" truffles into melted dark chocolate or dip into melted white chocolate.
Top with candied orange peels.
Pipe dark chocolate designs over truffles dipped into white chocolate.

Pour hot cream over the chocolate. Stir until well combined. Then separate into 3 smaller glass bowls.
Leave 1st bowl plain, stir orange liqueur into 2nd bowl, and stir brandy into 3rd bowl.
Cool down to room temperature and then chill in refrigerator until chocolate is firm. Then scoop out using a small ice cream scoop.
Shape into balls with your hands and place on a marked/parchment lined tray.
Then chill again in the refrigerator until chocolate truffles are fully set.
Roll plain truffles into nuts and dip "spiked" truffles with a fork into melted chocolate.
Put your dipped truffles on a baker's rack to end up with a clean looking truffle.
