Healthy Food Lover's Newsletter, Issue #004 -- The Alkaline Connection
April 15, 2012
Aloha Healthy Food Lovers,

The Alkaline Connection

It sounds like a spy flick - The Alkaline Connection. It's actually more like a horror movie when you discover what being too acid can lead to in your body.

Over time being too acidic leads to a condition called acidosis. Acidosis is to your health like the Federal Reserve is to your wealth - both will rob you blind!

Both are also a breeding ground for some really bad bugs and parasites - okay I'll stop now.

Until your body is in the right state or pH balance, your body may not be able to properly utilize vital nutrients or even heal itself.

Basically, you will be running around in circles as your body constantly steals important mineral reserves from your body to create the proper pH balance for your blood.

Acidosis can lead to..................

  • Weight Gain
  • Fatigue
  • Aching Muscles
  • Hair Loss
  • Thin Nails & Dry Skin
  • Acne
  • Infections
  • Food Allergies
  • Digestive Disorders
  • Cramping
  • Nausea & Vomiting
  • Osteoporosis
  • Dental Problems
  • Headaches
  • Hormonal Problems
  • Cardiovascular Problems
  • Cancer
  • Insomnia
  • Aging
  • Diabetes
  • Pale Complexion
  • Depression & Confusion

Misc.: Conventional Soy Sauce, Canned Foods, Highly Processed Foods, Deep Fried Foods, and Microwaved Foods

This is just a short list of the biggest offenders - its like the Committee of 300 (oops I did it again!).

Some Guidelines

  • Eat more Raw Organic Fresh Foods
  • Always Sprout or Ferment your Organic Grains
  • Choose Raw Pastured and Grass Fed Dairy Products
  • Choose Grass Fed Meats or Wild Meats over Factory Farmed
  • Choose Wild Atlantic Seafood
  • Use Lemon or Raw Apple Cider Vinegar in Salad Dressings
  • Consume a "Balanced" Percentage of your Foods and Drinks from the Alkaline Side

Important Note: I do not recommend eliminating a food group just because it is acidic - I just recommend learning to make the "Healthier Choice".

Be aware that consuming too much carbohydrates and not enough acidic foods will probably create a candida or yeast overgrowth in your body as they love sugar and can thrive in a more alkaline environment.

I highly recommend being very aware of the "Biggest Offenders" as they are the ones that will most likely steal your health.

Enjoy!

Kathryn
